What It Means to Come Back to Yourself (Again and Again)

Returning to yourself is often misunderstood as a single moment of clarity or change. In reality, it is a process that occurs repeatedly over time. It involves cycles of awareness, adjustment, and reconnection.

There will be times when you feel aligned and present, and other times when you feel distant or disconnected. This fluctuation is a natural part of being human, not an indication of failure.

The important aspect of this process is not maintaining constant connection, but recognising when you have moved away and allowing yourself to return without judgement.

Each return strengthens your awareness and your ability to reconnect. Over time, this creates a rhythm that becomes more familiar and more accessible.

Rather than aiming for a permanent state, the focus shifts to the ability to come back, again and again, with steadiness and without pressure.
