the listening room
The Listening Room gathers selected audio reflections from Sonita Singh’s wider body of work.

These recordings were created as quiet companions for the inner life — moments of reflection, awareness and self-leadership for the spaces between what we feel, what we carry, and how we choose to move forward.

They are no longer produced as an active podcast series. Instead, they are held here as part of the Sonita Singh author archive, alongside the books, writing, and reflective work.

This is a space to listen slowly.

No pressure.
No performance.
No need to rush.

Simply choose the piece that meets you where you are.
The collection includes reflective audio pieces exploring emotional awareness, self-leadership, identity, healing, grief, change, resilience, and the quiet thresholds we move through in life.

Some pieces are gentle reflections. Others offer inner prompts, spoken guidance, or short moments of perspective.

Together, they support the central themes that run through my writing — both fiction and non-fiction — and offer another way to enter the inner landscape behind the work.
You can listen in any order.

Choose the title that speaks to you. Let the words meet you without needing to analyse, achieve or respond in any particular way.

You may listen while resting, walking, journaling, sitting quietly, or simply taking a moment away from the noise of the day.
The purpose is not to fix yourself.

The purpose is to make space for what is already asking to be heard.
Each piece can stand alone, or be returned to over time as part of a wider practice of awareness, self-leadership and inner reflection.

Listen to what you need.

Leave what you do not.

Return when the words feel ready to meet you differently.
I have chosen to bring these recordings home to my website so they can sit quietly within my wider body of work.

They are no longer part of an active podcast schedule, and there is no ongoing series to follow. They remain here simply as an offering — for those who find their way to them, and for those who need a place to pause.

The work now lives here.

Quietly.
Simply.
In its own time.
