stories that change us
Some stories entertain us. Others stay with us, challenge us, unsettle us or change the way we see ourselves and the world around us.

The Screening Room is where Sonita's film and screenplay work lives — stories shaped by experience, emotion and the parts of life that are often harder to name.

Left homeless and grieving her father’s death, a gifted medium moves her children into her long-abandoned childhood home, where she must confront an ancient evil tied to her buried past before it destroys her family.
DAISY is a supernatural horror screenplay inspired by true events.
At its centre is a mother trying to protect her children while confronting a force that does not behave like a traditional haunting. What begins as a return to a childhood home becomes something far more personal, psychological and relentless.
The story explores fear, memory, family, identity, protection and the question of what happens when the thing threatening you seems to understand exactly where you are most vulnerable.
Beyond the Horror
Beneath the supernatural story, DAISY is also about emotional and psychological survival.
It explores what happens when fear begins to take over your inner world — and what it takes to reclaim your sense of self, trust your instincts and protect the people you love when everything around you feels unstable.
